琼斯：退役当天回家的路上我哭了，有三四个月不敢看比赛

9月24日讯 前曼联后卫琼斯接受了媒体的采访，表示刚退役时他的心情非常低落，一度不敢看足球比赛。

琼斯说道：“退役后，过了一段时间我才开始看球，因为这会让我感到一丝苦涩。每当我看比赛，不只是曼联的比赛而是全国各地的比赛，我会想我能比场上的球员做得更好。”

“那感觉就像是，每当听到人们夸赞一名球员，我会感觉我能比他表现得更好，但我已经无法展现出来了。有三四个月的时间我没有看比赛，当我的朋友来家里做客时，我的第一感觉是 "不要看足球比赛，我没兴趣看。""

”我一直感觉退役时会有这样的感受， "好吧，该结束了，我的任务完成了，我们还会再见的。""但对我来说不是这样，我依然能够为球队做出很多贡献。但退役对我来说是种解脱，我记得我在开车回家的路上哭了，我刚打开家门，我的妻子……她明白了一切。”
